Josh Hall was born in Syracuse, New York and trained at University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Josh was a member of Charlotte Ballet from 2012 to 2022 and joined the National Ballet as a Corps de Ballet Member in 2022. He was promoted to Second Soloist in 2023.
Most recently, Josh made his debut as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet and Guy Glover in Frame by Frame and performed in the world premiere of Wayne McGregor’s MADDADDAM as well as the Canadian premiere of The Collective Agreement. His repertoire with the National Ballet includes roles in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Concerto and Alleged Dances.
At Charlotte Ballet, he has performed the title role in Apollo, Prince Florimund in The Sleeping Beauty, the Sugar Plum’s Cavalier in The Nutcracker and a featured role in Romeo and Juliet by Sir Fredrick Ashton.
