Cinq choses à savoir

  1. 1In the fall of 2021, Emma performed for the first time with the National Ballet in Balanchine’s Serenade. She grew up inspired by watching the company perform and her first performance on the Four Seasons Centre stage was a moment she will never forget.

  2. 2Emma’s favourite thing to do outside of ballet is spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys skiing, cooking, baking, jewelry making and searching on Pinterest for fun DIY projects.

  3. 3Emma trained in all styles of dance at her home studio before joining Canada’s National Ballet School in Grade 9. Through opportunities at the school, and now with the National Ballet, she has developed a love for contemporary dance in addition to her passion for classical ballet and is so happy to be in a company that delves into incredible repertoire across the spectrum of both styles.
  4.
  5. 4Emma loves to travel and enjoys new world adventures with the people she loves most. Greece is currently at the top of her bucket list so that she can live out her Mamma Mia dreams!
  6.
  7. 5Emma is bilingual in English and French. She and other French speaking dancers have started “French Fridays”, where they try to speak solely in French to each other.
