  2. Born in Ottawa, Alexander played soccer and hockey before starting ballet at the age of 13.

  5. He trained at The School of Dance and Canada's National Ballet School before joining The National Ballet of Canada as an RBC Apprentice in 2017. He has been a member of the Corps de Ballet since 2018.

    1. As a teenager, Alexander was a journalist for his high school newspaper. He has a passion for languages and speaks English, French and Italian; he is actively learning Korean.

  11. In 2020, he made his debut in Wayne McGregor’s electric ballet Chroma. He danced the featured role of Seryozha, Anna’s son, in the North American premiere of John Neumeier’s Anna Karenina in 2018.

  14. One of his favourite performance memories includes dancing alongside Cirque du Soleil at the opening ceremony of the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games.
