  1. 1Miyoko was born in Japan and moved to Toronto when she was 16 to attend Canada’s National Ballet School. 
     
  2. 2She dances the lead role of Olga in one of her favourite ballet's, John Cranko's Onegin.

  4. 3In 2021, Miyoko danced the role of Calliope in George Balanchine's Apollo at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre.
     
  5. 4She has performed in several world premieres, including Frame by Frame, Le Petit Prince, Pinocchio and Unearth.

  7. 5In 2019, she debuted as Alice in Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
