4. 4In 2019, Jeannine represented the National Ballet in The International Competition for The Erik Bruhn Prize alongside Principal Dancer Siphesihle November. The pair performed a pas de deux from La Sylphide at the company’s Mad Hot Ballet gala the same year.

Full Biography

Jeannine Haller est née à Saskatoon, à Saskatchewan, et a reçu sa formation à la Place des Arts de Coquitlam, en Colombie-Britannique et à l’École nationale de ballet du Canada. Jeannine joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2015 and was promoted to First Soloist in 2021.

Most recently, Jeannine danced in the Canadian premieres of David Dawson’s Anima Animus and Alonzo King’s The Collective Agreement. Her repertoire includes Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Polyhymnia in Apollo, Neapolitan Princess and Pas de Trois in Swan Lake, Russian Girl in Serenade and Third Movement Principal in Concerto. She has also danced roles in Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Onegin, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Winter’s Tale, Nijinsky, Anna Karenina, The Merry Widow, A Streetcar Named Desire, Pinocchio, La Sylphide, The Dream, Paquita, The Four Seasons, The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, Piano Concerto #1, The Concert, Cacti, Emergence, Angels’ Atlas, Etudes, Chaconne, Symphony in C, Paz de la Jolla, Frame by Frame, Orpheus Alive and On Solid Ground.

En 2019, Jeannine représentait le Ballet national lors du Concours international pour le Prix Erik Bruhn. In 2016, she was awarded the RBC Apprentice Award
